  1. first of all i have for long tried too find a good dvd authoring program that i can put my vcd's in. I have tempgnc dvd author already and dvd-lab.

but Tempgnc dvd author is so limited you know you can't modify anything. All is pre modified menus and other stuff you can't modify much.

and DVD-lab is a great program but only in svcd because in vcd you can't preview and so on.

But there is a guide that shows how to cheat the dvd authoring programs to change the sound too 48hz isnted of 44 and that works but when i am putting the vcd file it refusis. and one more thing how do you make a mv1 file it just says that when you splitt the vcd file into video and audio you should atomatilcly get an mv1 file. but i get another format. but when i splitt an svcd file then it becomes a mv2 file as said. BUT HOW DO YOU GET AN MV1 FILE OF YOUR VCD FILE?????

and when i am suppose to change the bitrate i dvd patcher it totally fuks up the file first if you patch the entire file then you see small pixels at the right side of the window. and if you patch just the first header then the half of the window get lines that blocks half of the video????

if you don't understand a word of what i am saying please loock here at the guide i followed

    so can anyone help me?
i Want to go a DVD authoring edjucation. Can you do that?

  3. just a tad bit impatient(8 minutes between posts?!!?!?!??!!!!)....

search for posts by chrissyboy as he has guides and an app that will covert svcd to dvd

for vcd to dvd, baldrick has a guide using Moviefactory 2 to convert the vcd to dvd. so a search for either of these and this should point you in the correct direction.

  4. Try to De-Multiplex the mpeg file with TMPGEnc or some other de-multiplexing tool. the resample the audio with HeadAC3he or some other progg (I think that you can do it in TMPGEnc but it is not that fast)...

Then import the video and audio into whatever program you use to make your DVDs with....DVD-Lab or other.

If you do not understand what I am talking about, then I suggest that you take a step back and study the basic consepts in digital video.....OK?
