  1. OK,I have just recently bought me a dvd burner from Dell for my Dell computer its a Lite-On DVD+RW LDW-401S along with a 25 pack of DVD+R 4X RW Discs & I recently bought a Panasonic TV-DVD-VCR combo Panasonic PV-DM2093,now the TV DVD player states it plays DVD-R along with a few others, burned my first movie using the VIDEO_TS/AUDIO_TS Folder type recording, using the latest version of NERO,burned with no problems, had a couple of small skips, which I can live with,Now go to burn my second DVD,and for the life of me,cant figure out why it wont play on my TV DVD player, did everything the same as the first movie, funny thing is though that the second movie plays on a cheap APEX DVD Player from Wal-Mart that I bought for each of my kids, can anyone tell me why the TV DVD Player wont play the second DVD,Does DVD-R & DVD+R make a difference, any help would be great

    TIA

Yes, it does. Funny (ha,ha) isn't it that cheapo DVD players will play almost anything and name brand ones are very fussy. As your burner supports +R only, you may have to be satisfied with only playing on your apex player.

If at first you don't succeed; call it version 1.0

Maybe in the future liteon will have bitsettings in the firmware so you can set your burn to dvd-rom,i was lucky enough to find an app thru a link here that lets me set my 411s to dvd-rom for burning dvd+r.
