  1. I just recently purchased the 16x10x4, and i am having a problem, i can not get it to work with cdrwin or easy cd. If you own this product and it works with those software programs please let me know. I believe i have installed the correct aspi but no matter how many times i read up on the ide stuff both at cdrwin and roxio's website. Both websites say my burner is supported. nothing i do will recognize my burner. if you have any info please let me know. thanks alot

  3. I bought the 12x10x32 2 months ago and had problems with cdrwin (never tried to install ez coaster creator on this machine I like nero better). cdrwin did not work could not find my cdr drive. after searching the newsgroup alt.comp.periphs.cdr I found that my drive was not in the data base they put out a new version that worked and I know goldenhawk just put out a newer version of cdrwin (a week ago I think) and kept the same version number and file name so you might want to redownload cdrwin from goldenhawk. also what OS are you useing 9x, 2k or xp?

I love the drive only had one weird problem with it I still cant figure out, the instructions say it must be confugered as master on what ever ide channel it is on and they qare not kidding had it properly set up as slave and tripple checked everything. was working fine then the next day it would not power and bios could not see it. exchanged it for a new one same deal switcheid it to master and everything is smooth cant understand why this is happned and did not know it was possible

I just got the 16-10-40x last week, I've been using NERO 5.5.5.1 in WinXP with no problems.

I Just got a new system so I'll load EZCD5 and see what happens.

  6. Might try to use the aspi drivers in nero and copy it to your cdrwin dir but I think the new cdrwin should have the latest aspi that works for 2k (this is just a guess)
