I have a Pioneer 106D with the latest firmware and sometimes it will not recognize the correct CD that is in there. It will show up as the previous CD in My Computer and even if I drill down into it, it shows the contents of the other CD and not the one that's really in there.
Usually if I eject the CD, wait a minute or two, then reinsert it, it'll pick up the right CD.
Has anyone else seen this problem?

I had that problem a while ago. It would happen when I press the eject button on the CD/DVD drive without closing the open windows first. Then when I stick the new cd in, windows wouldn't know there was a new cd in the drive.
I'm sorry though, I can't remember for the life of me what I did to fix the problem. I think I fixed it with either a firmware update, or Bios update. Try to do a search on Google or Google Groups. It shouldn't be specific to that DVD drive.
