I recently downloaded a movie containing 3 avi files, 2 srt files and 1 sub file. I'm not sure why for the last avi they have used sub file instead of srt.
I am using ConvertXtoDVD to burn to dvd, but only the avi and srt files are being recognized. the sub file isn't. When the movie is burnt, only the first 2 parts are sub titled, the third isn't. Can anyone help me?

You might look here for a guide to convert .sub to .srt: https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=267416 That's a sticky at the top of this forum.
You can check for other subtitle tools here: https://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/subtitle

Ok, worked it out, thanks for your help. I was able to transfer the sub file to an srt, and all worked out ok. Thanks again.
