OK , i have a m2p video file that contains both sound and video , i made it using Canopus ProCoder Express. But when i try to put it onto a dvd in tmpgenc DVD author it rufuses to accept it. So i am stuk. It is a NTSC frame rate. and the resolution of it is 768 x 576 which is a ratio of 1:1.33.
If anyone knows how i can get this onto a dvd then please help me , thankyou.
I am pretty sure that the m2p file is mpeg2 , so i dont think i will need to convert it to make it go onto a dvd. Or am i jus screwed?

NTSC DVD's are required to be 720*480 or 704*480 resolution (or 352*480 or 352*240 mpeg-1), so that is the resolution you must encode to. Also, the only supported aspect ratios are 4:3 and 16:9. This is the Display aspect ratio (DAR) and is in no way related to the resolution. You can set this in the enoder and the info is stored in the mpeg file header.
If Canopus Pro Coder does not include resize abilities, you can resize the source in virtualdub and frameserve it to the encoder.
