I would like to create a menu that links to several different movie files (actually analog caps of short VHS kids movies). It is easy to create a scene select type of menu that links to each clip, but I also want a "Play All" button that starts at the first movie and runs through the others in series. The only way I know to do this is to link each movie to the start of the next one, but that messes things up a bit, because now if I select "Movie #2," at the end of "Movie #2" it will go to "Movie #3" and through the rest of them, and I would rather have it go back to the menu after "Movie #2" has finished.

Is there a way to make conditional statements that allow me to string these movies together ONLY if the "Play All" option was selected??

    Thanks,
    Stuart

  2. What I would do is merge all the movies together into one file, load that file into DVD-Lab and add chapter points at the beginning of each new episode & make each link point to a chapter point....
"Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

  3. At this point in time, I think that you are stuck with what you have. However, I noticed on the DVD-Lab website, that 1.4 beta 2 will have a scripting language, which will allow you to do a lot of things you couldn't before, one of them being a functional play all, and then being able to go back to the sub menu you launched from.

Thanks, maa! I didn't see that guide before.
That is rather complex, but once again, DVD-lab looks like it is open enough to allow virtually any scenario as long as you spend a little time learning how all this stuff is put together.

    Thanks!
