I'm trying to create a VCD with subtitles from a DVD source. I ripped the DVD to HDD and then created the .d2v project using DVD2AVI.
I can open this file in TMPGEnc with no problem, but i don't have subtitles.
Therefore, i have to open the intermediate file in Virtualdub, add subtitles and frameserve it to TMPGEnc.
To do this, i convert it to pseudo-avi using the VFAPI Codec reader. After i create the temp avi file, i cannot open it either in TMPGEnc, Virtualdub or WMP.
What could be the cause .... i suspect the VFAPI codec reader.
Any suggestions are welcome. Thanx.

Nevermind, peeps. I solved it by uninstalling and re-installing the VFAPI reader codec.
