Trouble erasing dvd+rw's

Hi Guys

I have just tried to back up one of my dvd'd on a packard bell dvd+rw using nero 6 and it never worked. None of my drives recognised the dvd.

So I went to erase it to have another go and the rewriter just tells me to insert a disc?

Anyone know how to get around this?

Its ok just used dvdinfo2 great tool!!
