  1. I have been using DVD Shrink for some time now and I am pretty happy with it (free too ); however, I want to know if how you all compare the new Recode 2 against it. Let's not take into account the cost here and just compare quality, speed, ease of use, features, compatibilty and so forth.

By the way, is there a way to buy Recode 2 not the other stuff?

    Thanks,

it would be nice to see the exact differences between the two

the obvious one being that Recode allows you to remove selective titles(not menus and that doesn't include reauthoring) while keeping unctioning menu's whereas DVDShrink doesn't

Please don't post saying that DVDShrink does remove selective titles or you can use methods to do it as I've been through this before . I'm talking about it all being in the actual GUI and allowing you to check/uncheck titles for removal

as for the rest of the comparision I guess DVDShrink would probably do for me but that's to suit my requirements and others may think differently

You are 100% correct. Honestly in my day to day uses there are little to no differences between the software. I'm now a full time Recode user baring any major bug finds. Of course I still burn with Recordnow Max
