hey, i'm gonna split up the film "the lord of the rings" onto 2 sides of a dvdr(cuz its so big and i don't want to compress it)and at the end of side 1 i would like to have a screen(like an FBI warning)pop up and say something like "flip the disk over to side 2", is this possible? if so how would i go about doing this?
ANY suggestions will help.
thx, josh

DVDXcopy will split the DVD into two disc so in your case you would simply turn the disc over when you did the burn. It won't tell you to flip the disc when it gets to the end of the first disc however it will tell you to "insert disc 2"

yo, i'm guessing the "insert disc 2" is made by dvdxcopy? i don't have dvdxcopy so i use dvdshrink, i was more wondering if there was a way to make a short mpeg2 file of a still image that played for like 10 seconds or so saying "flip the disc over to side 2" or whatever.
any possibilities on that? its no big deal, i could live without it but it would be kinda kool.
thx, josh
