TMPGEnc DVDAuthor won't work---what to try next?

well I dont know what happened but TMPGencDVD author wont work for me anymore---- I tried uninstalling and re=installing the app but it just won't work keeps giving me errors

anyways I liked this program because it would let me take multible VOB files and connect them to make one DVD---

the other Authoring programs Ive tried all want mp2 files or mov files etc..etc..


Can anyone tell me another good one that takes the VOB files or the IFO file and can connect two of them?

never had that happen. Was it just one day "all of a sudden" or did you do something to the machine and then it stopped working. Do you have XP, can you try a roll back to before you started experiencing the problem?

You should contact TMPGENC support and ask them why that has happened.

To fix TMPG you invariabley do the following:

1) Reboot
2) Uninstall TMPG
3) Re-Boot
4) Delete TMPG folders
5) Re-Install
6) Re-Boot

This has fixed most TMPG errors involving executables. I'm sure it's a DLL versioning issue, but it's hard to track down exactly where.
