  1. Some time ago I produced a DVD from some old home movies I filmed that I had in VCR tapes. I lost this DVD but fortunately I kept a backup of the DVD disc in my hard drive. The files I have in my hard drive are of type VOB, BUP and IFO and they are all inside a VIDEO_TS folder with another AUDIO_TS folder empty.
My question is: what is the procedure to follow in order to burn these files either to a DVD+RW or DVD-R and make them into a playable DVD?
I tried just copying and pasting but it doesn't work.
    Thanks

You will need VIDEO_TS.IFO, VIDEO_TS.BUP, VTS_01_0.IFO, VTS_01_0.BUP & VTS_01_1.VOB as the bare minimum. Make sure that you have at least these files (you may have VTS_01_2....etc also). Use your favorite DVD authoring software to make a DVD-Video disc and place these inside the VIDEO_TS folder on said disc. As long as it has the above 5 files it will be playable on a settop box.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  4. In Nero, just tell it you are creating a DVD Video disc, then drag/drop your VIDEO_TS folder (and its contents) in and burn it. This is how I always do my backups I create with DVD2One.
