It looks as if you are required to have a thumbnail. Yuck...

I hope I am just not doing something right. All I want is a "Play All" button (this I can do), but I don't want a thumbnail.

    Thanks for any info.

  2. I haven't found a way to delete the thumbnail yet, but you could shrink it down in the edit menu and put it outside of the "TV safe area" Then it would not be visible on a normal tv.

To view the "TV safe area" look under options in the menu edit area.

    Hope this helps

  3. Make sure you have the latest version of DVD Author. You have to choose "new theme" under the menu choices. There you will find main menus that only list the title of the track. If you don't want that, you can delete the text and leave only the play all button.

I unchecked them all, but that thumbnail on the main page was still there. I couldn't delete it.

Are you trying to have chapter points without a menu? If so, just select 'No-Menu'. Granted the DVD will play automatically, but you will still be able to skipto the next chapter.

No--I just wanted to have a menu without a picture button. I just wanted a simple "Play All."

Someone suggested I move it out of the viewable region, and I think that would probably work, but the inflexibility of the menu just bothered me, so I switched to DVDLab. There have been some growing pains, and also a few bugs to deal with, but I actually like DVDLab quite a bit more.

    Thanks for the help everyone!
