  1. I was wondering what the max amount of MegB. of AVI - Mpeg is
    which can be transferd on a single CD-RW ( if I burn it as a SVCD)

    I wanted to burn a whole movie .. 698 MB onto a CD-RW in SVCD-mode
    but that was way too much ..

    Can anyone help me out please .. thx


    still need some info on how to change my Philips DVDR75 into a region free DVDR75 ...

    689mb will fit on a CD. How do you know it's way too much ?

    MB of avi or mpeg means nothing, it is the length in minutes that's most important. A one disk 800 MB SVCD will hold anywhere from 40 to 60 mins. depending on the bitrate used to create it.
