is there something inherently different about the way tmpgenc dvd author burns compared to the way nero burns. isay this because i have yet to make one coaster with dvd author but with nero i maybe use to avg one a day, does it use some kind of different aspi layer..holla back

It's prolly sumthin to do with your particular system or overall process for ripping and authoring and burning. I've burnt dozens of DVD's using Nero and haven't made a coaster yet. Some folks just can't get Nero to work at all. Others have NO problems with it.
