I currently use Clone DVD to backupmy DVD's, which works fine untill, it seems there is a lot on the DVD and then it compress every thing down and some times you lose the quality.
Therefore, I'm after your comments with the best software to use to backup DVD's - either just a straight copy or if I just want to extract the movie from the disc (no extras) .... I have seen DVD Shrink named on this site, is that any good?
Please help.

For ease of use, I'd say DVD2ONE, but DVD Shrink is quite powerful, has it's own onboard ripper, and is free to boot.
Of course, I was doing this before either of those two babies came on the scene, and have still been known on occasion to strip streams in IFOedit and, if necessary, re-encode with the likes of TMPGenc or, if I'm feeling lazy, ReMPG2.
If you use say IFOedit and strip out any streams and trailers etc that you won't need, you may be surprised how many movies fit on a DVD-/+R without further work.
BTW - DVD2ONE is bloody quick !! -
