I am a noobie to .avi to dvd converting and authoring. I just recently converted my very first file. The file which is at 25 FPS is as u can tell PAL. Well on the guide I am following, it says that for sources at 23 FPS that they need to be converted to 29 FPS for TMPGEnc DVD Author, to be able to read them. But it doesnt mention anything about PAL or sources at 25 FPS.
My Question is will TMPGEnc DVD Author, accept my source at 25 FPS and author it correctly? (If not what do I need to do?)
Also is this video once bunred going to play ok on my stand alone DVD player?
O' the guide i am following is http://www.donstevenson.net/myguides/myguides.html

Yes, tmpgenc dvd author will accept 25 fps pal and author it correctly. All dvd author tools support pal and ntsc, but you cannot mix pal and ntsc on same dvd though(you can but it is not standard dvd-video).
It will play ok if your dvdplayer and tv supports pal...or if your dvdplayer can convert to NTSC for your TV.
