  1. I've tried the search function but couldn't find anything so I hope someone can help me. I want to extract from a music DVD the files and convert them to mp3. Does anyone knows what program to use?

    Thanks for your help

    Rip with DVDDecrypter in chapter mode (getting 1 vob each chapter), then DVD2AVI to get the audio in WAV format (once for each vob), then CDEx (or lame, if you like command line tools) to encode wav to MP3.
    Pretty simple and straight forward.

  3. I must be a real dummy because it does'n't work for me. I've ripped the DVD with decrypter and I have a few .vob files. But after using DVD2AVI I can only make an Avi file and not an Wav file. That option is grey.

    Please advise.

    Isn't there an other program that I can use?

    Thanks for your your trouble

  4. Use the save project option in dvd2avi it will produce a d2v and wav file, if you set the audio to decoded to wav.

    Besweet can read the vob and produce a mp3.
    Ejoc's CVD Page:
    DVDDecrypter -> DVD2AVI -> Vobsub -> AVISynth -> TMPGEnc -> VCDEasy

    DVD:
    DVDShrink -> RecordNow DX

    Capture:
    VirualDub -> AVISynth -> QuEnc -> ffmpeggui -> TMPGEnc DVD Author
