I play guitar and I have software that slows musician training videos in only 3 formats: avi's wmv's and mp3's.
How do I convert my training dvd's to one of the 3 formats?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

AVI is a container name that covers many, many video formats. MP3 is a audio format. WMV is a Windows video format.

If the AVI format you need is Divx/Xvid, you might try AutoGK to do the conversion. Maybe a bit easier to use is FairUse Wizard. There are freeware versions of each available.

But you may want to find out the actual format and settings your program needs before spending a lot of time converting the DVDs.

And if you want WMVs then try AutoMKV, click on it for guides. It's not as easy as AutoGK or FairUse Wizard though.

That's one of Baldrick's alter egos. It's a character from the British TV series, Black Adder: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackadder
