Hi, I've a strange problem. I have a movie on a so called "video on CD". The movie, two cd's, are published in 1994 special for running on a PC with windows 3.1 equiped with a special Mpeg decoderboard.
I've tried to convert those two mpg files to VCD to be able to run those on my home video DVD player.
Nero has converted the file. The strange exeperience:
If I run the VCD on my PC using Power DVD, no problem. If I run it on my home studio DVD player, Sony, sound is not in sync with the movie, it is to late.
Has anyone any idea why this doesn't work.
This is my first try to convert something so I'm new in this area.

    Thanks

  2. I had the same problem and even binned a few SVCD's I had burnt because of this, however I have now found that pressing the "angle" button on the DVD players remote control a couple of times fixes it. My DVD player is a Toshiba 220e, the DVD player mentioned on the forum I found this fix was a different model so it may be more of a general thing than player specific.

If it's a regualr sync problem, then you need somehting like virtualdub or goldwave to extract the wav file, re-encode as vcd, and then burn. I recommend using tmpgenc to encode...nero sucks at conversion.
