VirtualDub > DivX5 = audio out of sync

I'm capturing with VDub for the first time and the audio is out of sync. It is about 2 seconds ahead of the video. How do I correct this?

Did you check the video for bad frames? (Video-->Scan video stream for errors), and have you checked these two settings?

I checked those 2 settings but didnt check for bad frames. I am capturing on the fly to DivX5 with mpeg3 compression. Could that be the problem? Because the audio is insync when I capture in uncompressed PCM.
