I have a pal avi that I am trying to convert to ntsc dvd. I used virtualdub and changed the video framerate and then encoded it with main encoder. Everything went great with the video. I used virtualdub to extract the audio to a wav file. I then used goldwave to convert it to ntsc by setting the timewarp to 95.904%(23.976/25.000). I use TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6. to author the dvd and convert the audio to DD on the fly. When I inserted the chapter points I noticed that the sound was coming about a second too early. I used virtualdub and selected the interleave setting and set the audio delay to 979ms. After converting it to ntsc I found that the audio delay is exactly the same. Any ideas what I am doing wrong and how I can fix this? I have used this method before and it worked great but this time I have no idea what is going wrong.

Oops! My bad! I figured out what I was doing wrong! Duh! I need to convert to ntsc first with goldwave and then change the interleave via virtualdub.
