I use DVD Decrypter and IC8 to backup my DVDs.

Sometimes I have DVDs with just a big pcm stereo uncompressed stream. I would like to rip (dvd9 to dvd-r) but compressing the pcm stream to a Dolby Digital (AC3) 2.0. This way I could have more space left to increase the video quality in IC8...

How can I do it? Are there a single software that can do it (like many does compressing video streams..)

    Sorry my poor English.
    Regards from Brazil,

BeSweet will do it, but remember after you encode it to AC3 2.0, whoever wants to play the disc needs a reciever with Dolby Digital decoding or a stand alone dvd player with on board decoding abilities. Same for a PC.

In PCM format, it plays everywhere with no additional hardware.
