Question:
I noticed as I authored dvd's for Tmpgnc dvd author, it starts the movie immediately. You must then click the menu option on the dvd player or remote control to select a chapter. How can this be done with DVD Lab? The authoring I've done with DVD Lab starts the dvd menu immediately.
Also, when I play commercial DVD's, they have an "intro" movie or maybe some commercials, i.e., "The Hulk" DVD. Is DVD Lab capable of producing the same effect?
Thanks, Pat.

In connections window right-click mouse and select "show button links" as well as "jump links". Change pointer from arrow to "+" to draw your desirable "first play" connection. That's all.
Have a look at DVD-lab's help file (connections). You 'll find exacty what you wish to do as examples.
P.S. In TMPGEnc DVD authoring tool you do it under "Display menu settings" (first play action). -
thanks, I will let you know how it turns out. How are your authoring dvd's using DVD Lab? It seems more flexable than Tmpgenc DVD Author.
