I was just curious to know how long I could expect a burnt DVD-R 4.7g (Princo) to last. Providing the disc is kept in it's case under 50 degrees C and handled correctly...
Does anyone know for sure?![]()

The first twenty DVD-R I burned were 1x Princo's about seven or so months ago now. All of them still play just fine. I store my DVDR's in binders which are out of any direct light and always at room temperature.

no one really knows. at best you can steer clear from media known to have short term problems and store/handle your discs properly and hope for the best.
