Good Day.

I have been using this software for quite sometime now mainly for editing mpeg1/2 files. Just recently either the program hangs or prompts something like "kernel32..." or " not responding... whenever I try to insert an mpeg1/2 file. But for AVI there seems to be no problem.

Any info or help will be highly appreciated.

Unfortunately, the problem you describe suggests that your installation of Microsoft Windows may be destabilized.

Have you noted any other unusual behavior with any other programs?

Have you installed any codec packs?
