Can someone tell me why i can see like scanlines on virtualvcr?
Thats the only way i can really explain it, like small lines around people, on movement or bright lights.
Is there any way to get rid of this as i'd like to use it as my main capturing device along with vdub?
Also which video mode should i be in in device settings for England, should it be PAL_B?

What you are seeing is what is called interlacing. If the final video product is to seen on TV, do nothing, absolutely nothing. The picture will be just fine. If the final product is to viewed on computers, then you must deinterlace it, or use a player that automatically doe sit for you, like WinDVD. Virtual Dub has a filter that can do it, too.
