I used TMPG Enc to encode an AVI, as I have done several times before. The AVI file is perfectly in sync, with no bad frames, and the audio and video lengths are equal (video-02:02:06.759, audio-02:02:06.746). Since the audio was vbr I extracted it as a wav file using goldwave, and fed the avi and wav streams to TMPG. When I checked the mpg file after encoding, I saw no problems - the video and audio were perfectly in sync, so I proceeded to burn it using vcdeasy - as I have done so many times before. To my immense surprise, the audio and video were out of sync on the burned cd! I don't even know how to begin to solve such a problem - does anybody have any ideas about how this could have happened?
