Might seem like a stupid question but I was just wondering what the best program for capturing MPEG-2 in real-time would be. I'll include my system specs if that will help and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much in advance for any help!!!

    Windows XP
    1.4gHz P4
    256mb RAM
    40gb HD
ATI TV Wonder VE Capture Card

And anything else if you need to know. Thanx again.

  2. I know that quite a few people will disagree with me on this one.

I've had tremendous success with pinnacle studio v8 with all the updates applied. Unless someone can refer me to something that has a timer on it, plus all the features...

however, I would ONLY suggest using it for capture purposes. It's incredibly slow in everything else it does.
