  1. @ £44.99 its microsoft pricing, so is it as good as its meant to be?
Considering I liked UT and quake2. I have tried UT2003 demo and that looks a little bit more of the same UT. My fave game is still Alpha centauri and I like the Idea of Pirates (coming soon). I bought black aND WHITE for £6 and dont really play that....

For PC? It isn't optimised properly. But there's patches and fixes showing up. :c)

what what?? What should your next choice be you mean?

Halo is good. Kinda short single player, but good multi. You just have to run it in low resolution, but fixes are emerging.

I've played UT (not the 2003 version) on the PC and Halo on the XBOX and I have to say I prefer UT. I see Halo as a UT rip-off, even has the same terminology, also on the XBOX you can' t play 1 player against the box in a tournament mode - its just a graphical adventure game.

Haven't seen UT2003 but I'll probably get that (or wait for UT2004 - November time I believe).

Played Halo on the xbox before I sold my xbox. Really cool game. Now I have the PC version and I'm enjoying that also. Runs great on my machine with no problems or patches needed. But when I put it on my 2nd machine I noticed the game turns off alot of features unless you have a good video card.

Anyway its no HL2 but I like it better then the Unreal 2 myself.

I'd always choose HL2 over UT or Quake. But for something really different - 2 to watch for are Tron 2 and XIII. Both excellent. IMO :c)
