  1. I have tried time and again but the only way to get it to change to mpg format with sound is using Nero but then the subtitles get cut off. If I load it up into TMPGEnc it works fine until you get to the audio part then it acts like there is no audio at all, whats another program thats easy as TMP and does the same thing, if any?

    CCE, MainConcept are 2 other mpeg encoders. But the problem is probably not TMPGEnc, but that your source file has audio in some for TMPGEnc (and possibly even other encoders) strange format.
    If you specify the properties of your source file (most notably what codecs are used for audio and video - Use GSpot to get at this info) perhaps someone can direct you.
