  1. I wasn't really sure where to make this post, so I put it here.

    I have 4 MPEG movies that I incoded using TMPGnc with a bitrate of 2000 kbps. I took this 4 movies and made them into dvd files to burn to dvd using TMPGnc DVD Author. This gives me a dvd to burn of around 8 gigs. Given the incoded bitrate of 2000 and if i where to use DVD Shrink to compress the DVD files down enouh to burn to 4.7 DVD disc, do you think the movies will be of good quality ?

    Compared to what? You be the judge. Personally i think they will look like crap.

    Think about it .....

    DVD = 4.38 you have 8 @ 2000 therefore 4.38Gb will be an averaged bitrate of 1200ish.

  4. Well I tried it, and lets just say I ended up with a SVCD. It didn't always look like poo, but there where times in the movies when it would block up and stuff.
