    I am having problems with my sony dav-s550. It plays dts discs through the built in player. But I have a samsung multiregion connected to it through the optical input and if I play dts discs in the samsung and put the sony on to enjoy the full range. I have no sound at all through that input (video 2). I have followed the instruction manual but to no avail. Is there anyone who can help.

    Is the digital output on the player turned on in the menu?
