Hello,
I recently formatted my hard disk, before I did, I had Videostudio 7 installed. Through my MiniDV camera I could capture from digital tv straight to DVD spec MPG2 with no problems, as long as the slider bar which plays off quality to speed was less than about 85%.
Since I formatted, I can only capture for about 30 seconds, until the frame buffer is full, even with quality/speed down to about 20%, then the capture automatically stops.
I was wondering if it could have been a codec I had installed before, or does Videostudio 7 use its own codec? If it isnt, then what might the problem be?
I have no idea what codecs I had installed before.
Thanks
Rob

I do not think it is a codec problem. My frame buffer overloads in VS as well if I multitask.
