I'm trying to convert an AVI file (DivX 5, 640x480, 29,97 fps, audio mpeg layer 3) to VCD using TMPGEnc.
The strange thing is that TMPGEnc estimate the output file much longer than it really is.
After the encoding, the resulting output file is my original video without audio plus a blank part up to complete the estimated wrong time.

    Any tip will be appreciated
    thanx

  2. Your avi file has VBR audio. Tmpgenc does not like this. Do a forum search for VBR audio and you will find plenty of posts discussing this plus the solutions you need.

  3. extract the audio using VirtualDub as a WAV
if tmpgenc can't read it convert to mp2 besweet
