Finalizing Software?

Hi I have this big problem. I have a CD-R deck that uses CD-R music discs and will record fine. But won't finalize the disc. Once it stops recording it doesn't recognize the existence of a disc in the drive at all.

I was wondering if there is any software for the computer I can use to finalize this type of CD with my DVD-R drive?

I know that winoncd 3.8 - 4.x could do this with any disc, just callup disc properties and there would be a 'finalize disc' option.

can't remember if any other s/w will let you do this (without burning something to the disc first)

Thanks but at $100 it isn't worth the cost.

Anything for free that can do this?

I planned to use the CD-R deck for recording audio during my film shoot. But if I have to spend $100 to get these discs finalized (which may or may not work) I'd rather spend the money on a portable minidisc recorder instead and trash the CDR deck
