    when i run video out of my toshiba satellite laptop it wont play dvds on tv everything shows but the movie itself. it will show on the laptop it self..

    you probably need to change the primary display adapter to tv-out

    hook everything up

    Hold down the function key [fn] and hit the [F5] key

    You may have to hit the [F5] key twice

    BTW, you might have to lower your refresh rate too
    tgpo famous MAC commercial, You be the judge?
