I have tried to understand the manual, but I just cannot get how to do it. Whatever I encode doesn’t play and I believe I followed the instructions to the letter. I just want to be able to take a VOB and bring in to MPEG4 so that I can have a nice illustration clip in powerpoint. I am in OSX.
Alos, I get a -2763 applescript error when I launch FF.
Thanks you so much and sorry if I was not able to find this on the forum!

if you got an audio source that quicktime can handle, just rename .vob to .mpeg and it will playback in quicktime.
otherwise, you will have to either run this .vob though ffmpegx and have it do an encoding to something like mpeg4
either way, it should be a straight forward process
just use quick presets for divx ntsc or pal and lose the .vob as your source.
if audio plays back in quicktime, just exprot to mpeg4
