PPT 2004 for OS X allows a slideshow to be exported as a movie (Quicktime). The .mov plays back OK in QT, but ffmpegx doesn't recognize it. Anything I can do so that it is recognized?

When you tick the Decode with QuickTime checkbox, it will convert anyway.
    (I just tried it.)

Hmmm. It didn't work for me. I get the Ding! sound, but no file appears. What could I be doing wrong. I should add that I'm converting to flv using the version of ffmpegx I downloaded today.

If I use QTAmateur to "convert" the file to .mov and then use ffmpegx to convert this file to flv, ffmpegx works OK.

Here's the output of the terminal window:

Ah yes, I tried converting to XviD. Converting (directly) to FLV didn't work for me either.
