Whoa.... that was a legitimate question asked.
Someone may have your exact camera and be able to tell you precisely how it's done.
That was your first post, and you'll soon find a good attitude, along with providing ALL info from the start will go a long way in helping you solve problems.
You should apologise right away if expect to hang around here for any length of time. There's no place like 127.0.0.1

That's better. :c)
I am sure someone will be able to help now.
Just remember if you expect patience, you've got to give a little and have a little too.
I don't have the DC10 so I can't help with that. Does it have its own audio in? If not, you'd go in through your sound card, but I bet others who use one and will tell you.
Good luck. Hope you get lots of replies now. :c)There's no place like 127.0.0.1

I don't live in a PAL country so don't understand SCART
but
YELLOW is Video..
goes from composite CAMERA VIDEO OUT to Pinnacle DC
studio VIDEO IN
Red and White are audio left and right..
You might be able to use S-VHS out instead of the YELLOW wire , tho..
You need to find the S-VIDEO in on the Studio 10 card, ad leave the yellow off in this case -
Not good to post your e-mail in a forum like that.
At least put like dave@nospamyahoo.com or something. Most people know to remove the nospam part and it keeps the spam robots a little confused
Post your e-mail like that often and you won't be able to find your real mail soon for all the spam!
As for your cables, I don't have what you have so I can't give details.
But if your card has 2 S/video plugs I would guess one is for in and one is for out. You should be able to figure which way you want to go
To put VHS onto the computer you need to connect to the input.
As for composite, yellow is for video and the other two are sound. If your capture device only has 2 rca jacks, maybe one is in and one is out?
Is that device supposed to do output? S-video cables are video only, so if it has 2 connections sounds like one is for output, so I would think it has composite out also? Don't you have a manual to tell you what the connecters are? Have you gone to the manufactorers website and looked?
If you don't have a manual, often there will be one on the website you can download.
If you do have output, and only 2 rca jacks, then you might need to connect the audio directly to your sound cards line in. For that You can get a Y cable that has the little mini din plug for the sound card on one end and two rca plugs on the other end.
Also, are you sure those plugs are S-video? Some cards use a cable that sort of looks like an S-video plug but is not. Like my Card, it has a cable that plugs into the card on one end, but on the other end it has 4 connections. 1 S-video, 1 composite video, 2 audio.
