Hello,

i have recently purchased a JVC TH-A30R home cinema set. I was under the impression that it would play dvd-r aswell as dvd+r. I have tried a dvd-r (2 different brands) and they dont work. The guy in the store said it might be because the moviez are longer than 2 hours and therefor the player doesn't understand the "longplay" version. Is this so or doesn't it play dvd-r at all? and what about dvd+r, haven't tried that yet.
