Have used this tool and it just simply works - it's the puppy's privates.

BUT If I use TMPGEnc to burn the created output the discs WON’T play on my “arianet dvd-2277” but WILL play on my mustek player?!?

If I burn the same output with Nero 6 (DVD-video option) disc works on both?

    Anyone got any ideas ideas?

  3. I have to agree with dutchman3507. TMPEGEnc DVD Author is still in the testing phase with an updated version coming out every month or so. Do what is working for you. If Nero burns your DVDs and plays with no problems on both standalones, then stick with Nero

    Burn it with Nero
Yep, thats what I am doing, just wonder'd if anyone else had had a problem
Had a look at discs with DvdInfo and results are below

This disc plays in Mustek, Pacific & Arianet (Nero DVD-Video)

This disc only plays in Mustek (TMPGEnc DVD Author)

Only diff I can see is Implementation id & Volume name
As one can see both use UDF 1.02 (as I thought 1 app might not be - from reading other posts on nero)

Oh well ! any input welcome...

I'm still getting the same problems with Identical media/files (dvd-r)
however tried same files with a dvd-rw and TMPGEnc DVD Author and that worked.

Haven't used it with a DVD+R yet (TMPGEnc DVD Author) they cost me too much and I don't need any more coasters.

Still think it's strange why DVD-RW work

Why haven't pegasys-inc got a 'report bug' page on their site? (or do they use this site for bug reports )
You can only get support if you purchased the product.

I like this proggie but would not pay for it unless the burning issue got cleared up (or am I the only 1 with this problem)
