Hi
I have a Pirates of the Carraibean in an AVI format, the picture quality is quite good but during scenes at night the pictures are too dark and you cant see the characters properly is it posible to improve the brightness of the film ? by not adjusting the contrast, brightness etc on your monitor
thanks

You are in breach of the forum rules and are being issued with a formal warning. You clearly have a bootleg version of this film, and the rules of this site are very clear regarding Warez.

Since this post is in direct violation of the forum rules, I'm going to lock it. I'm just going to give you some very general advice...
There are many filters available either through virtual dub, avisynth, or directly through various mpg encoders which will let you adjust things such as brightness, contrast, and colors.
