I know this topic has been done over and over again, and I read how to fix it. When using DVD Decrypter go into settings --> file mode, then change set multi angle processing to retain angle 1 in VOBS.
Well I did just that, then I tried it out in Windows Media Player and PowerDVD and it either froze when it got to the Trinity fight at the beginning or just went wacky.
Am I missing something? Did I do something wrong? If I could do it with DVD Decrypter that would be great. If it matters I will be using either DVDFAB or InstantCopy7 or both to transcode/burn.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi tcook.
Had major trouble doing the matrix myself with DVD Decrypter while attempting to retain one angle only. Same effect, video would go wacky on me repeating split second scenes and especially during the fights it would go absolutely nuclear... resulting dvd waz simply unwatchable
I finally managed to backup my DVD of the Matrix using Decrypter in full file copy mode and then using DVD2DVD-r on the resulting files. That gave me a perfect single angle backup!!
Too bad i had to burn five coasters b4 I thought of DVD-RW!!!!
Hope this helps a bit.

So you left the wacky angle problems and just went ahead and used DVD2ONE and it worked???
I'm worried that if i went ahead and tried to burn it that it would still do the same thing on my standalone?
If you could tell me exactly what you did (if you remember) that wouuld be awesome! -
... because it seems like i did the same thing as you, as i also dycrypted in full file mode, what else did you do to get rid of the wacky?

Sorry to disappoint ya but I used a completely different program than DVD2ONE.
before burning my Matrix backup with Nero.
I used DVD2DVD-R which is a german (I think?) shell for utilising both IfoEDit and CCE 2.50. The results were really excellent, and having tried all other programs (including IfoEdit on its own) I found (after many many coasters!!) that DVD2DVD-R waz the only one that worked for me.
May I suggest you tried DVD Shrink which in my view, seems to be the most popular for ease of use? - Quality though is a debateable issue.
Hope this helps!

Silly me!
I forgot to mention that my version of the Matrix is PAL, which seems to be DVD2DVD-R's favorite system. From what i hear NTSC is not very compatible with it.
Better give DVD Shrink a try... ! Its free, small and effective!!
BTW, ya can learn more about the software I mentioned by looking around the guides on the left.
Good Luck
