Can someone please help me !!!
For some weeks now I have been trying to make backup DVDs I have had success with dvd5 to dvd5 using DVD decryptor but I am now stuck on dvd9 to dvd5 backups . I have tried using dvddecryptor -rempeg-dvdmaestro-record now dx method the resulting compiled files would not play with powerdvd but will play on wmp but when burned to Packard bell -r discs would not play in my pioneer dv360. I thought it must be DVD maestro so I downloaded and tried DVD shrink with exactly the same results. I am using a Packard bell I extreme 6070 with windows xp service pack 1, athlon xp 2800+, 2.07GHz, 512 mb of ram,80GB HD,pioneer A05 dvd-r burner with record now dx .
Thanx in advance

What are the steps you are taking
what guide are you following -
For the first method using dvd maestro I have been using fukheads method #2 from fukrulz.com. For dvd shrink I just used the help file you get with dvd shrink to convert dvd9-dvd5. I cant understand why I get the same results using differant s/w
Thanx

DVDSHrink made a set of files did it not ? IFO VOB etc
Make sure they are in a folder named VIDEO_TS
and see if power DVD will play it. It probably will.
If that works...
The only other question is how to get it on a DVDr
What burning program do you have ?
Just burn the VIDEO_TS folder as data on a DVDr
and then play that with powerDVD in your computer drive.
If that works you are down to media compatibility issues
