when i first got dvd shrink it worked fine and would rip right from a disc, now whenever i try it freezes the whole program, the only thing i can do is rip it with another program and use dvd shrink to compress. i tried downloading a beta to see if it was a problem with the version, but it still freezes. anybody else get this and/or no something i can do to fix it. thanks.

Hello guyonthecouch86.
This is a problem that has been reported by a couple of other DVD Shrink users (out of a few thousands users), and so far no-one has been able to really identify its cause.
The most probable ones are some kind of conflict with another software you might have installed or updated, or a misconfiguration of your drives (your DVD writer not been set as Master).
So I can only suggest you try and remember what changes you made to your system just before the problem occured, and check your DVD writer is set as Master.
Let us know if one or the other worked. -
thanks, i didnt no this was happening to others, ill start by uninstalling some other burning software i have that i added since the problem. one other thing is i was wondering if ne1 else had a problem were in their my computer their dvd-rw drive is read as like 3 differnt drives.
it has it as drive e as a dvd rom f as a dvd writer and g as a cd writer. i thought was kind of weird, anyone else experience this?
