I'm looking for some assistance. I've got a computer setup as my PVR machine, and it records just fine. But when trying to view the movies on my TV the quality is awful... Mostly it appears I have interferance from something. It appears as slight vertically scrolling lines accross the screen, it is especially noticable on black. I've tried various output methods with little luck.

I have a Geforce 2 card with SVideo out, this was attempt 1, but this didn't work. Not only was there interferance, it was B&W...

I gave up on that one and bought a Scan Converter, so now I get color, but the interferance is still there.

Now the interesting thing is I tried hooking my other computer which has an ATI 9600Pro to a TV with a SVideo to RCA converter, and the color is fine, but I have the same interferance. So, I really don't know what's wrong here. Is there any device I can buy to clear this up? Is it a power issue, will a line cleaner fix it? If anyone has any ideas or recommendations, I'd really appreciate it.

    Thanks,
    Dower
