green blochy spots in playback

hello ppl i am using dvdlab 1.1 to convert my svcdz onto a dvdr, it works perfect on my pc with powerdvd but when i tried it a while ago on a panasonic standalone, whenpalying back it had alot off green artifacts on the tv while palying back and help will be apprectiated,

Sounds like a media problem - check out the numerous posts in the media forum along these lines and you'll see just how widespread it is.

I had the same problem and it turned out to be the player, try a different one and see what happens.

If i remember correctly I had the same problem when I was doing svcd's and realized that it was an encoding issue. I think i raised the bit rate and the field order. And that seemed to eliminate the issue for me.
It also did make a diff which player I used as it showed more on one then the other.
