  3. Hi, thanks for responding. I want to take portions of the video, edit them, and put them together in smaller sequences, esp. removing portions I don't want to keep. I purchased Videowave 7, at CompUSA, in order to do this editing, but when I ask them questions now, they act like they don't know me, and send me to this website. I am definitely not aware of the bigger picture in all this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I haven't tried to run the Videowave editor yet, because he told me the files needed to be VOB files.

If the dvd is not protected, then you should be able to open the files in My Computer and do a "Copy and Paste". If that does'nt work, just use DVD Decrypter even though it is not protected. It will still work the same.

  5. Just make sure you uncheck the "Hide extensions for known file types" and any other similar options.

By the way, I think you are double posting... though it is slightly worded differently.
It's time to kick some butts, and presto ( if you know what I mean )

  6. Thank you all for the help. Yes, I apologize for the double posting, it is against the rules I'll bet. Once I put it in the one forum, I noticed the other one, and thought it would be the more appropriate one.
